Period of Coverage
For Students Who Elect SASI Coverage
SASI enrollees for autumn quarter have coverage beginning September 1st and continuing through August 31st. Your decision to enroll in SASI (for either the Basic or Advantage coverage) or to waive coverage is binding for the remaining plan year following the end of the second week of your first quarter of registration during the plan year.
If you start the academic year in a quarter other than Autumn, your insurance coverage will begin on the first day of the quarter in which you enroll and continue through the end of the plan year (August 31st).
If you graduate at the end of the Autumn or Winter quarter, coverage will continue through the day before the first day of the quarter after graduation.
If you graduate at the end of Spring or Summer quarter, coverage will continue through August 31.
